Pilgrimages of India
Parthi - 1960 Coonoor & Ooty - 1963 Shirdi-1965

Due to polio my school in Bombay was very kind and always kept my classroom on the ground floor as though I started walking, climbing the stairs was a difficult task for me. My parents then put me in Coonor - Ooty to study where I had a small spell of only 3 months of education there. Ooty is noted for its extraordinary scenic beauty and salubrious climate amidst the Nilgiris meaning "Blue Mountains". I had another good opportunity to go to Ooty in 1980 along with my Guruji - Sri Sathya Sai Baba as His guest to see His ashram and school as I had to put my nephews in the school for their education.

I studied in St. Joseph's Convent in Coonoor. Coonoor is a little bit of England as it is famous for its garden, with homes.
